Two seasonal plans: 5 cm Standard or 3 cm Priority
The 5 cm Plan ($249/month, December 1 to April 1) is built for most households: we come once every 24 hours whenever 5 cm or more falls, on our residential route after 8:00 am. The 3 cm Priority Plan ($399/month, November 15 to April 15) is for people who need to get out early: service starts at just 3 cm, the first clearing is done by 8:00 am, we return up to twice in 24 hours during heavy storms, walkways are pre-treated with brine before forecast storms, and next-day clearing of the city plow ridge is included. Both prices cover driveways that fit up to 4 cars.
Unlimited means unlimited
There are no caps on visits, storms or salt applications on either plan. A light winter or a record winter costs you the same, so you never have to decide whether a storm is "worth" calling us for.
Prepared before the first snowfall
Before the season starts, we stake your driveway edges and any hazards — garden beds, curbs, low walls, irrigation heads — so nothing gets clipped when the snow is deep. If the city plow buries the end of your driveway, ridge clearing is included on the Priority Plan and available as an add-on with the 5 cm Plan.

Before the storm
We track forecasts days ahead. On the Priority Plan, walkways are pre-treated with brine so snow and ice can't bond to the surface.

At 3 cm (Priority) or 5 cm (Standard), your property is dispatched automatically. You never have to call or text to ask.

Clearing
Driveway, front walkway and the city sidewalk are cleared down to the surface, not just pushed aside. Priority properties are finished by 8:00 am.

Treatment
Every cleared surface is finished with corrosion-inhibited brine to stop refreezing and keep footing safe.

Heavy or long storms
Priority properties get up to two clearings in 24 hours. Standard properties are cleared once every 24 hours for as long as snow keeps falling.

The ridge the city plow leaves across your driveway is cleared the next day on the Priority Plan, or with the add-on on the 5 cm Plan.

Pre-treatment: why we use brine instead of just rock salt
Most snow services plow first and throw rock salt on whatever ice is left. We work the other way around. On the 3 cm Priority Plan, walkways are pre-treated with liquid salt brine ahead of forecast storms, and on both plans every cleared surface is finished with corrosion-inhibited brine. On very cold days we blend calcium chloride into that brine. Here's what that means for your driveway.
Snow doesn't stick. A thin layer of brine on the pavement before the storm stops snow and ice from bonding, so we clear down to bare pavement instead of chipping at packed ice.
Far less salt. Liquid brine covers the surface evenly and stays where it is sprayed, so it takes a fraction of the material that spreading rock salt after the fact does.
Gentler on your property. Less salt means less white residue tracked indoors, less damage to lawn edges and garden beds, and less salt on concrete steps and pavers.
Corrosion-inhibited. Our brine includes a corrosion inhibitor to help protect vehicles, railings, garage-door hardware and other metal near cleared areas.
Keeps working in deep cold. Plain salt stalls below about −9°C. On very cold days we blend calcium chloride into our brine, so it keeps melting when a cold snap hits.
Safer sooner. Because brine is already in solution, it starts melting right away — no waiting for dry pellets to pick up moisture.

Temperatures are typical pavement working limits. Every de-icer slows down as it gets colder, and nothing replaces clearing the snow first.
A note on concrete, interlock and pets
Salt doesn't eat concrete by itself — the damage comes from water soaking in and freezing over and over. Using less material, applied evenly, means less of that cycle on your driveway, steps and interlock. Concrete poured within the last year is the most vulnerable, so let us know if yours is new. Less loose salt on walkways is also easier on your pets' paws.
Winter tips for homeowners
A few things that make every snow day safer, whoever clears your driveway.
Keep vents clear. Drifts can block furnace, water-heater and dryer vents on the side of your home. Blocked vents can cause carbon monoxide to build up, so check them after every big storm.
Give us room. When a storm is forecast, park on one side of the driveway or in the garage so we can clear as much of it as possible.
Mind the bins. On collection days, place garbage and recycling where they won't block the end of the driveway or sidewalk.
Tell us what's under the snow. New concrete, interlock, heated driveways, low walls and in-ground lights all need a little extra care.
Clear your roof edges and downspouts of ice where you safely can. Meltwater that refreezes on walkways is a common cause of slips.
